Passivhaus Certification has been granted for Vent Axia’s Sentinel Apex commercial Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) range, including the HR06, HR10, HR15, and HR21 units.
The Sentinel Apex units are designed for commercial applications and deliver airflows up to 4000m³/hr. They include features such as demand-controlled ventilation, constant pressure or volume operation, Intelligent Summer Bypass for free cooling, and ePM10 50% extract and ePM1 55% supply filters. Internal frost protection, low sound levels, and high thermal efficiency of up to 93% are standard. The units incorporate a double-skin construction with acoustic infill, integral condensate trays, and electric frost protection.
Vent-Axia has designed the range for low embodied carbon and ease of maintenance. Controls are compatible with wired and wireless Sentinel-X sensors to monitor occupancy and air quality.
