Specially designed to protect heat pump systems from loss of efficiency and breakdown caused by sludge and scale accumulation, the new BoilerMagHP magnetic filter comes supplied with 28mm bore isolation valves, accommodating the greater flow rates common to heat pump systems. In addition, the bigger valves reduce the risk of pressure drops, which can affect heat pump efficiency.
The filter utilises BoilerMag’s patented dual flow technology and incorporates high-intensity magnets and optimum flow dynamics, said to ensure extremely high magnetite collection rates, even at higher flow rates. A scale guard provides additional protection against limescale. The new filter also includes features such as in-line installation, 360˚adjustment, and high collection capacity.
Contamination risks can be more acute in heat pump systems as they typically operate at lower temperatures. This means they can be more susceptible to bacteria and slime, which thrive in sludge-contaminated systems. BoilerMagHP works to counter these risks, removing contamination from the system and protecting the heat pump.
