APHC (Training) Ltd. has announced an increase in its training reward to £175 for plumbing and heating companies in England and Wales. This reward can be claimed towards the cost of certificated courses with recognised training providers, including APHC, BPEC, City & Guilds, and all UKAS-approved ACS providers.

The £175 training reward is available to all plumbing and heating companies, regardless of APHC membership status.

To claim the reward, companies must complete a short application form and submit a copy of the training course invoice along with the successful completion certificate. APHC will then reimburse the cost of the course, up to £175, directly into the employer’s business bank account.

In addition to the training reward, APHC has unveiled its 2025 programme of courses, which includes topics such as Legionella Cold Water Risk Assessment & Disinfection, Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems (Unvented), and Sanitary and Above Ground Drainage. These courses will be delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams, allowing participants to join from a PC or laptop. Each course spans two hours per day over a maximum of five days, and participants will complete an online assessment to obtain a course completion certificate.

Graeme Dryden, deputy CEO & technical services manager at the Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors (APHC), says: “We are delighted to be able to increase our Training Reward to £175 for 2025. It is so important in our industry to ensure knowledge is up-to-date and that our work is compliant and safe. This Training Reward is an incentive to encourage businesses to undertake more training and gain more skills.”
