Smart thermostat manufacturer IMI has launched three new devices for its Heatmiser neo System: the neoAir V4, neoStat V3, and neoHub Gen 3. These next-generation products include hardware upgrades based on user feedback. Improvements include enhanced reset functionality and a 9V DC power supply for more consistent performance across various home setups. The neoHub Gen 3 adds NFC (Near Field Communication) for simplified device pairing with mobile phones.

The wireless neoAir V4 features a 30% improvement in battery life and extended range, while the neoStat V3 offers a glass panel touchscreen and voice assistant compatibility with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit. All devices connect via the neoHub Gen 3, which acts as the system gateway, integrating with the home router and enabling control through the neoApp or other smart platforms.

The neoHub Gen 3 is also designed to support future upgrades, including the upcoming neoFlo smart radiator head, which offers quiet digital control and a battery life of up to six years.

Thomas Sheppard, head of product for IMI Heatmiser, says: “This next generation of products has allowed us to integrate key customer insight into the product design and capability. It is important that manufacturers innovate and adapt to develop products that are simple to use, are compatible with common systems and networks while remaining energy efficient. With these new additions to the neo System IMI has been able to apply the engineering experience and technological expertise of IMI Heatmiser to place simplicity at the heart of home heating and cooling control.”
