With the aim of supporting local communities, Vaillant is taking part in a joint initiative with the UK Plumbing Supplies brands. Throughout June and running until 30th September, every purchase of an ecoTEC plus boiler will see a donation from GB Willbond, HPS, Plumbcity, Plumbstop, Plumbstore, UK-PS, MDS, Plumbase, Gas Centre or Michael Pavis Ltd, matched by Vaillant, to a local food bank, chosen by the contributing depot.
“Supporting installers is at the forefront of everything we do,” says Spencer Clark, commercial director at Vaillant, “and we’re thrilled to be able to extend this support to our merchant partners, in a bid to raise money for local communities. It’s a great cause and one that we’re really proud to be a part of.”
Steve Wimbledon, commercial director at UK Plumbing Supplies, adds: “Our businesses are integral to their local communities. It’s been an extremely tough year and food banks are becoming increasingly important to families and individuals alike. Supporting local people in conjunction with a household brand such as Vaillant gives us all an opportunity to give something back to the people who live closest to us.”
Throughout the promotional period, Vaillant’s regional business managers will also host localised events and activities at merchant branches around the UK, to help raise further funds by hosting fun activities, exclusive giveaways and a prize draw offering one lucky installer the chance to win an ecoTEC plus 10-year guarantee bundle, including a boiler, an intuitive internet connect control, a boiler protection kit and a clothing and merchandise bundle.
