Newark Cylinders has introduced the Aquinox Pancake Buffer Vessel, a stainless steel buffer vessel developed for heat pump installations where space and ceiling height are restricted. The unit provides buffer capacity in situations where conventional cylindrical vessels cannot be installed due to spatial constraints.
Starting from just 200mm in height, the vessel is available in wider diameters up to 600mm and can be installed above or below a hot water cylinder. This stacked configuration allows use of otherwise unused plant room space while limiting overall system height.
Manufactured in stainless steel, the vessel is offered with customisable connection positions and sizes. It also features a re-purposable drain connection that can be used for a stat pocket, supporting installation flexibility in retrofit environments where space was not originally designed for heat pump systems.
