Installers looking to upskill to heat pump technology can take advantage of free training at the Daikin Sustainable Home Centre in Rainham, just off the M25 near London.
Offered by the Quantum Group, the course – Daikin Altherma LT Monobloc Standard Installation Level 1 Course – is available to book for the 16th February, 2nd March or 16th March.
As a pre-requisite, installers should complete an online Pre-Course Training ahead of the in-person training day. The aim of this is to ensure everyone is up to speed on the basics of heat pumps so that the main course runs smoothly.
This online training comprises five modules, including a final assessment. The total course time is 150 minutes, but installers can complete it in segments at their own convenience. Upon successful completion of the online training, installers will receive an email from Daikin with a certificate.
The main in-person course (Daikin Altherma LT Monobloc Standard Installation Level 1) begins at 8:00am and runs to 4:30pm.
Topics to be covered include the monobloc concept, product layout, installation, maintenance, and much more.
This course will be held in Quantum Group’s Training Room which is at Unit 8, Easter Industrial Park, Ferry Lane, Rainham, Essex, RM13 9BP. There are limited spaces available and these will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. There will be a lunch break from 12:00-12:30, and trainees are asked to provide their own lunch.
Upon successful completion of the in-person course, installers will be awarded a certificate, plus there is also an opportunity to win a refractometer in a prize raffle.
