Evolve is the name of a new ‘feature rich’ boiler range from Vokèra which is said to offer models and outputs to suit virtually any domestic application. All boilers in the range are ‘A’ under the ErP directive, and by adding Vokèra’s BeSMART internet connected thermostat to the system, will become an ‘A+’ heating package.
At the heart of Evolve is the REC10 liquid crystal display user interface. The full text menu driven control enables both the installer and end user to navigate through the boiler’s parameters and settings, including programming the heating on and off times as desired. A new efficiency indicator will also provide homeowners with a visual indication of ‘high’ or ‘optimal’ efficiency, based on the return temperature.
Installer friendly features include a reduced height flue bend, a pre-fixing jig, concealed service valves and pump kick function. As an added safety feature the boilers incorporate a CO monitor which will fail-safe if excessive CO is detected.
Both combi and system boilers are available, with an open vent version to follow next year.
