New from Kamco is the SystemGuard HP Range, a series of backwashable heat pump filters designed to protect low-carbon heating systems. The products are designed to support performance, efficiency and long-term reliability as heat pump adoption increases in the UK. The range includes the SystemGuard HP and SystemGuard HP+, both developed to address magnetite, sludge and particulate debris within heating circuits.
According to Kamco, the filters combine mechanical, magnetic and electrostatic technologies to improve system cleanliness and maintain flow rates.
Features include backwashable cleaning, an internal bypass to allow continued operation during servicing, and a dry-pocket magnet to simplify maintenance.
The SystemGuard HP model incorporates a 100-micron internal mesh, while the HP+ version adds enhanced venting and desludging capability alongside electrostatic particle capture.
The range offers flexible installation options and is available with different connection sizes, including up to DN50 on selected models. All products are supplied with a five-year warranty.
