Expanding its renewable heating technology range, Alpha has launched the Magis M Top, a monobloc air source heat pump for new build and retrofit residential properties.

The Magis M Top provides heating, cooling and domestic hot water and can achieve flow temperatures of up to 75°C. Using advanced inverter technology, the system regulates its output in line with real-time demand. This ensures maximum performance while minimising electricity consumption, especially during milder weather when full output isn’t required. As a result, end users benefit from improved seasonal efficiency and reduced running costs.

The air source heat pump uses a natural refrigerant gas R290, which has high thermal efficiency and a very low global warming potential, making it an eco-friendly choice compared to conventional synthetic refrigerants.

“The Magis M Top gives installers a genuinely capable heat pump. It’s designed to perform across a wide range of homes and heating setups, and to make the installer’s job as straightforward as possible. That’s the Alpha approach,” says Darran Smith, technical manager, Alpha.
