Looking to continue its growth in the sustainable heating sector, Grant UK has moved to new larger premises in Swindon, with the company’s head office, warehousing and training academy now based on a site that is three times larger than their previous facility.

Over a period of just over 25 years, the company has significantly grown in size, first trading in Salisbury and then operating from Devizes since 2003. Nearly two decades on, Grant UK has undergone further expansion and has moved to its new home in Swindon which, as well as a new modern office complex, boasts increased storage capacity and fully-equipped training rooms.

The official opening on 3rd November was the culmination of a ten-month renovation project which has seen the installation of new racking in the warehouses, engaging workspaces for employees and practical assessment areas for the Training Academy. Sustainability has been an integral part of the project, which includes three biomass heating boilers to provide heating and hot water and 168 solar panels to meet the site’s electricity demand.

“Our move to Swindon marks an exciting new chapter for Grant UK,” comments MD Paul Wakefield. “Moving premises is a significant step for any business to make, but the hard work that has gone into creating our new larger facilities will enable Grant UK and the team to settle into a site which will support our continued growth for many, many years to come. The road to a cleaner, low carbon future will be full of opportunities and this move to new facilities will ensure that we as a company can continue to deliver the high-quality products and services that our customers have come to expect from Grant.”
