Heat pump installation company Heat Geek has announced a new strategic partnership with Vaillant with the aim of setting the benchmark for heating system design and installation quality by empowering independent installers.
Heat Geek works with an independent network of installers across the country, providing them with training and tools to adapt to renewable technologies like heat pumps. Vaillant, now celebrating its 150th anniversary, operates a UK manufacturing plant for the aroTHERM plus air-to-water heat pumps (featuring natural refrigerant), which sit at the heart of the majority of Heat Geek installations.
Under the new partnership, Heat Geek installers will receive privileged access to Vaillant’s product range. They’ll also have opportunities to directly feedback their experiences in the field to help advance Vaillant’s product development.
Heat Geek has worked with Vaillant for many years with hundreds of Vaillant manufactured devices at the heart of highly efficient, warm homes for customers across the country. Its platform works with Vaillant technologies in the heat pump to monitor every heat pump they install.
Using data from these monitored installs, Heat Geek installations are running at an average SCOP of 440%, far exceeding the national average and BUS minimum of 280%. These efficiencies are a reflection of the high level of skills of the Heat Geek installer network and the capabilities and efficiencies of the equipment.
Heat Geek and Vaillant are now deepening their partnership to bring better benefits to more installers and their homeowners across the country.
Bespoke access to Vaillant hardware
Through the partnership, independent Heat Geek installers will get bespoke access to Vaillant heat pumps through the Heat Geek installations platform.
Continuous product and system design feedback
Heat Geek will work with Vaillant’s Product and Service teams to feedback front-line experiences from installers in the network and help prioritise solutions.
High quality training
Heat Geek installers will now be able to access Vaillant product specific training as part of the Heat Geek Learn product. Vaillant trainees will have discounted access to the Heat Geek Learn product.
Access to rewards and support
All Heat Geek installers will benefit from the Vaillant Advance programme of rewards, including when Heat Geek supply the equipment.
