The latest addition to Honeywell’s Lyric range of connected home products is the W1 Wi-Fi Water Leak and Freeze Detector. The device provides a convenient solution to monitor water leaks, humidity levels and damage from low temperatures around the home. It sends an alert through the Lyric app if a water leak or freezing conditions are detected, enabling homeowners to take quick action.
The detector monitors freezing conditions or impending moisture issues through built-in sensors that track indoor temperature and moisture levels. Leaks are also detected by the 1.2m long fully sensing cable, which can detect liquids throughout its entire length. The connected cable can be placed around pipes, along floors, and other spaces at risk of water damage. Additional cables can be added to cover larger areas of up to 150m. The Lyric W1 Wi-Fi is a one-box solution connected directly to a home’s wifi.
