In response to increased demand, wetroom specialist Impey has identified the need for more informative ‘hands-on’ wetroom training and has decided to embark on a UK tour. The new training programme begins at the company’s Somerset HQ this month and will then take place at 10 different sporting venues over the course of the year, including Southampton’s St Marys Stadium in February.

Impey’s ‘We are Wetrooms’ tour will incorporate training on the company’s range of wetroom solutions, including the AquaDec EasyFit floor former, Waterguard tanking solution and AquaGrade screed template for concrete floors. The programme for the day will include advice on how to achieve the correct wetroom gradient, how to correctly tile on a floor former or wetroom tray and how to to achieve leak-free water proofing and effective drainage.

With a maximum of 30 attendees on each day, the company says there will be plenty of opportunity for interaction, ‘hands on’ demonstrations and one to one Q&As with the Impey training team, led by Technical Manager Shaun Hunt.

The day-long training sessions will be held on the following dates: 21 Jan, Impey HQ, Somerset (fully booked); 10 February, St Marys Stadium, Southampton; 2 March, White Hart Lane, London; 3 March, Kia Oval, London; 13 April, Carrow Road, Norwich; 11 May, Etihad Stadium, Manchester; 15 June, The Hawthorns, Birmingham; 13 July, Hillsborough Stadium, Sheffield; 14 September, Celtic Park, Glasgow; 5 October, St James Park, Newcastle and 9 November, Cardiff City Stadium.
