Plumbers are wasting 120 working hours a year (on average) by having to delay jobs to make in-person purchases for work-related items.
This is the equivalent of 15 days, based on an 8-hour day.
The ElectricalDirect study found that plumbers spend two and a half hours a week on such tasks, including driving to merchants, parking, browsing and paying.
On average, installers spend almost two and a half hours a week on such tasks, which equates to nearly 10 hours a week and over 115 hours a year.
