New from Ferroli is the Bluehelix HiTech RRT next-generation range of combi boilers, which comes with a seven-year warranty as standard. This is an upgrade on the Bluehelix RRT and is available in 24, 28 and 34kW outputs. The manufacturer describes it as an intelligent boiler offered at an affordable price.
The new HiTech model features a stainless steel Thermobalance heat exchanger, which is shaped to ensure increased water flow and improve efficiency, even where water flow is obstructed. This feature means the boiler is suitable as a replacement where installations are prone to producing sediment in the exchanger.
Other benefits include an updated electric control system enabling a touch pad display, easy-to-use and navigate display panel, updated gas valve to allow for improved calibration, and easy access to the external wiring connections without having to lower the front panel.
The Bluehelix Hi-Tech is class 6 for NOx emissions, achieves 94% season heating efficiency, and the new intelligent gas adaptive combustion system constantly monitors and optimises combustion levels as the gas and flue conditions change.
The Bluehelix HiTech RRT is quiet-running and can operate on natural gas and LPG without the need for conversion kits, and it is hydrogen-ready.
