New from Continal Underfloor Heating is OneBoard Plus – an updated version of the company’s OneBoard structural underfloor heating (UFH) system that is said to deliver increased performance and even faster response times.
The new OneBoard Plus system comes with a full heat dissipation foil to provide heat outputs of up to 72W/m2 across the floor. As a structural system, it can be laid directly on 400mm and 600mm joists and is ideal for both new build and retrofit installations. It has an inbuilt composite chipboard panel that replaces the normal chipboard or plywood sub-layer. This also helps to reduce floor build-up heights, creating a low-profile UFH system that can be fitted almost anywhere.
There are pre-routed 12mm pipe channels set at 150mm pipe centres to make it easier to lay the UFH pipes into the board. The pipe centres incorporate Continal’s flexible SUPERflex-12 underfloor heating pipe, which is kink-resistant and offers a bend radius of less than 100mm to make installations quick and easy.
Suitable for all heat sources and floor coverings, OneBoard Plus can be combined with a wide range of control solutions, including digital and manual thermostats to suit the user’s needs, as well as app-controlled thermostats so users can control their heating through their smart device.
