Faster heat, lower energy use, and a smaller carbon footprint are all promised with the new DEVIcell Low Carbon insulation plate system. Developed by DEVI, the underfloor heating system is made using 75% recycled aluminium and delivers up to 33% faster heat-up times. Suitable for both dry installations beneath wood, laminate, or parquet floors, and wet screed installations beneath tiles, DEVIcell Low Carbon can be used under almost any floor surface.
The low-carbon insulation plate features a full aluminium covering with ready-made grooves for the quick installation of DEVIflex 6T and 10T heating cables. This recycled aluminium layer ensures faster reaction times, even heat distribution, and improved comfort across the entire floor surface.
By reflecting heat back into the room and minimising heat loss, the system reduces energy consumption while accelerating surface heat-up time. The result, says the company, is a system that delivers optimal comfort more quickly and efficiently for both homeowners and businesses.
The plates are said to be easy to handle and fit neatly into both dry and wet systems. The pre-cut return grooves for heating cables and compatibility with irregular floor shapes, means that installers will be able to provide customers with a fast, efficient, and professional finish.
