Designed for UK residential applications, Elta Group’s HAVA Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) range focuses on heat efficiency, indoor air quality, and compliance with current building regulations. The range comprises six models suitable for vertical, horizontal, or dual orientation mounting, allowing flexibility in homes where space is limited.
Each unit is equipped with Modbus integration, providing advanced control options, and delivers heat recovery of up to 92% by transferring warmth from outgoing stale air to incoming fresh air. This process helps maintain comfortable indoor conditions while reducing energy loss.
The systems are engineered to meet the ventilation and energy performance requirements of Parts F, L, and O of the UK Building Regulations.
David Millward, product manager at Elta Group, comments: “With modern homes being built more and more airtight, the importance of controlled ventilation is becoming a more significant matter than before. Without adequate systems in place, stale air, mould and condensation can accumulate, jeopardising the health of the building and its occupants. To add urgency to the adoption of high performing ventilation systems, Awaab’s Law is set to enforce stricter timeframes for landlords and housing providers in dealing with damp and mould.
