Heating, hot water and renewables manufacturer Lochinvar has launched the EcoKnight XL, the latest addition to its comprehensive range of commercial water heaters. It is available in four models, with outputs ranging from 113 to 283kW, and is designed to meet the demands of a wide range of applications including schools, commercial buildings, hotels, and healthcare facilities.
The new EcoKnight XL models boast a seasonal efficiency of over 96%, a 10:1 turndown ratio, and an updated heat exchanger that enhances overall system performance.
The units feature rear connections and the ability to cascade up to eight units so the system can be precisely matched to hot water requirements. This increases overall efficiency, which makes these heaters ideal for both retrofit and new build projects, in conjunction with hybrid systems where permitted.
