The Lo-Carbon Sentinel Econiq is a Passivhaus-certified Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) system from Vent-Axia. It is designed to provide low carbon heat recovery ventilation for air-tight, thermally efficient new build dwellings.
With a specific electric power as low as 0.22 Wh/m3 and a near-silent operation, the unit provides ‘excellent’ indoor air quality (IAQ) and occupant comfort. It features EC motors and highly sculpted interiors to maximise airflows and minimise noise and energy consumption.
The system’s Constant Volume feature ensures it operates effectively, efficiently and reliably, maintaining a pre-set airflow irrespective of system pressure within its performance capabilities. It also includes a built-in preheater as standard with optional duct heaters, and ePM2.5 (F7) filters to improve IAQ by removing allergens and particulate matter.
To ensure the Sentinel Econiq operates efficiently and help housebuilders comply with regulations, Vent-Axia has developed a Commissioning Wizard, making it easy to commission. The system is controlled by the Vent-Axia Connect app, providing users with year-round control of their ventilation.
