Bullfix has announced that its range of plasterboard fixings are now available from Screwfix, giving installers a strong and reliable way to mount everything from radiators and boilers to bathroom suites and cabinetry on plasterboard walls.
Mark Howe, a 35 year veteran of the building trade, is the brain behind the product, which has been designed to solve some of the common challenges of fixing heavy objects to plasterboard walls, such as insufficient strength and poor wing deployment.
These universal fixings, which will hold up to 116kg, are suitable for dot and dab, stud walls and insulation backed plasterboard, with only a 7mm cavity required. A key feature is that users cannot screw into the fixing unless the wings have fully deployed, which ensures a reliable installation.
In 2021, Bullfix launched on Amazon UK, becoming the top selling plasterboard fixing brand on the platform. The brand then expanded to Amazon US, France, and Germany, and has since secured investment from Wilko and has facilitated wider availability online and in stores, including B&Q.
The company says its product is the only fixing independently tested by FIRA (Furniture Industry Research Association), successfully passing stringent load tests for EN standards).
