Installers are invited to attend Screwfix LIVE, a three-day event (22 – 24 September) which opens its doors on Friday this week at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre. Marking its 10th year, this year’s show will have sustainability as its main focus, with a dedicated sustainability stand and refurb shop where customers can learn more about Screwfix’s programme of keeping tools in use for longer. The stand will host live demonstrations of the supplier’s rigorous refurb processes that gave more than 100,000 products a second life in the last 12 months.

Keeping products in use for longer forms an important part of the company’s sustainability strategy, with Screwfix selling refurbished tools directly to customers through its website. The company has also committed to reducing its carbon emissions by adopting low carbon energy sources, purchasing exclusively green electricity for its store network and so far, equipping over 500 stores with air source heat pumps (ASHPs).

There will be more than 170 brands under the same roof at Screwfix LIVE, which is free to attend with free parking on-site. Visitors will be able to experience live product demonstrations, have the chance to enter competitions, benefit from some exclusive deals and meet special guests in attendance.

Matt Compton, commercial director at Screwfix, says: “We’re so excited to welcome our customers and suppliers back to Screwfix LIVE for our 10th anniversary event. Every year, Screwfix LIVE gets bigger and better, and it gives our customers the opportunity to get hands on with their favourite brands and the latest innovations in the trade.”

Registrations are still open, and those interested in attending should visit www.screwfixlive.com to book their place and secure a free goodie bag for when they arrive at the event.
