Wilo UK has launched a new condensate management system designed to safely and efficiently remove condensate from condensing boilers.

NovaCON has been developed as a compact, plug-and-play solution that provides reliable discharge of condensate into the drainage system.

Effective condensate management is essential to maintaining system performance and extending equipment lifespan. Condensing boilers and air conditioning units produce acidic condensate that must be removed correctly to prevent corrosion, leaks and costly damage. Proper drainage supports efficient operation, protects surrounding building materials and helps ensure compliance with installation standards.

The system ensures safe and dependable performance through features such as an integrated float switch to prevent overflow and a non-return valve, which stops backflow.

In addition to a standard condensate drain outlet, NovaCON offers increased installation flexibility through the option to connect to the boiler pressure relief valve, or PRV. This capability creates a single, integrated discharge point, simplifying installation, reducing pipework requirements and supporting the safe, compliant routing of both condensate and PRV discharge.

Andy Thompson, national sales manager for plumbing and heating at Wilo UK, says:

“Managing condensate is often an overlooked part of an installation, yet it can have a significant impact on long term system reliability. With NovaCON, we wanted to give installers a straightforward, dependable solution that removes complexity on site and helps avoid common issues further down the line.”

NovaCON is engineered for quick installation and quiet operation. It can be installed either on the floor or mounted on a wall, and includes a volt free connection for alarm systems, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

The system is compatible with a broad range of condensing boilers, including models up to 50kW.
