The new Intafil Combi from Inta takes the sealed system kit a step further, cutting out components, pipework and installation time. It is designed to take unnecessary work out of the job.
The idea came from what installers were already doing on site: adding drain valves, isolation valves and extra fittings around expansion vessels, often in cramped airing cupboards and plant spaces. Intafil Combi brings that functionality together in one compact monoblock.
Inta says its own installation assessments estimate it can save 15 to 20 minutes of on-site assembly time and eliminate up to four unnecessary joints.
Intafil Combi combines the filling loop, pressure gauge, expansion vessel isolation and drain valve in one assembly, with a direct 22mm connection to the heating circuit, G¾ swivel connection to the expansion vessel and 360° rotatable drain-off.
And the benefits continue after installation.
The expansion vessel can be isolated independently and emptied through the integrated drain valve, avoiding the need to drain down the complete heating system when the expansion vessel eventually needs servicing or replacement.
An optional G½ connection allows a safety relief valve to be added, while the anti-tamper arrangement helps prevent accidental isolation during normal operation. Intafil Combi can also be used on air source heat pump installations, where the same sealed-system principles apply, giving installers a compact approach across both boiler and heat pump systems.
