Haier and Passiv UK have announced a new partnership that will see the Passiv Smart Thermostat integrate directly with Haier heat pumps. An exclusive Haier and Passiv Smart Thermostat bundle will be available through Plumb Centre branches, making it easier for installers to specify a fully integrated, smart heat pump solution at a competitive price point.
The collaboration means Haier customers can benefit from intelligent, heat pump specific controls straight out of the box. The Passiv Smart Thermostat delivers effortless comfort through its dedicated app and in-home controls, while improving efficiency by 17%, as verified by the Energy Saving Trust. It can also optimise energy use in line with time-of-use tariffs and rooftop solar generation.
For installers, the partnership reduces complexity on site, making heat pump installation quicker and easier. The Passiv Smart Thermostat removes the need to configure a weather compensation curve, saving time and reducing setup errors.
