The Gas Safe Register is reminding gas engineers and other stakeholders that they have less than two weeks left to participate in the Gas Safe Register’s ‘Decade Review’. The Gas Safe Register has been engaging with several focus groups of key stakeholders in the industry to get their views, along with collecting views through the online survey, which can be accessed at http://bit.do/DecadeReviewSurveyA.

There is already a variety key issues and topics that is being highlighted through the survey such as illegal gas fitters, training, quality and consumer awareness. Anyone who wishes to send in further information relating to the Decade Review, or potentially take part in focus groups or other activities, can also do so by emailing DecadeReview@accent-mr.com.

Scott Darroch, Project Director for the review, said: “We have had almost 3000 responses through so far from gas engineers and other stakeholders, indicating how they think the industry has changed to date and what could change in the future.

“It is important that these views are recognised to help inform and shape where the industry should be focusing on in the coming decade. The survey is still open and we would like to encourage all involved stakeholders to participate and provide their thoughts on the industry, both looking at the past and also looking to the future.”

The full report and findings will be published by Gas Safe Register in Summer 2017.
