The Radiance Dynamic Heater from the Electric Heating Company (EHC) is designed to meet the heating demands of the modern home with designer styling and has a number of features that enhance heating comfort and lower energy usage. It is suitable as a heating solution for apartments, domestic dwellings, holiday homes, and offices.
The heating elements and high performance heating oil are housed within the sturdy aluminium body of the heater. Due to the modular construction and air flow outlets at the top of the heater, the Radiance benefits from fast heat up times and provides an even surface temperature with optimum convection through all heating cycles.
For ease of operation the digital programmable thermostat is located at the top of the heater. It will accurately control both time and temperature, is fully programmable, and offers settings including comfort, economy, frost protection and on/off. A high precision automatic cut-out device helps protect the Radiance against overheating.
For ease of installation, the heater comes with ‘click and fit’ hanging brackets, however feet and castors are also available. For future maintenance purposes the main PCB is housed in a cartridge system to avoid removing the heater from the wall during repair.
Smart app
Simply connect to the internet within a property using a smartphone, tablet or PC to open the EHC SmartHome app. The app is compatible with both Apple and Android products and includes a selection of useful menus:
- Control heating anywhere and anytime 24/7
- Switch the heaters on/off at anytime
- Adjust each room temperature separately
- Limit electricity consumption to avoid exceeding maximum power available
- Monitor current electricity consumption
- View the electricity and temperature consumption history
- Check the latest weather forecast
Users can also choose to install the EHC SmartHome Wi-Fi kit, which includes a SmartHome gateway and a power meter clamp.
