The Honeywell Home DT4 from Resideo, recently given the Product Design 2024 award from the Red Dot Design, is an advanced thermostat that optimises home heating and cooling efficiency. It won the award due to its user-centric features that enhance both functionality and ease of use.

The DT4 supports a wide range of systems, including boilers, heat pumps, and underfloor heating, while being backwards compatible with previous Honeywell Home models. It offers multiple communication options, allowing for flexible installation. User-friendly installation is further supported by QR code access to instructional videos. It also features ECO and Boost functions for temporary adjustments.

Luke Cairns, European product management leader at Resideo, comments: “During the product development process for the DT4, we spent time with installers across Europe to ensure our offering would have a positive impact on their installation and application requirements – and it would address the energy efficiency challenges their customers are facing. To have the product’s design internationally recognised is a wonderful bonus.”

The DT4 thermostat range is manufactured at Resideo’s Newhouse site in Scotland, UK.
