There’s still time to enter this year’s Heating Installer Awards, with entries closing on 28th February. The awards are designed to promote some of the UK’s best plumbers and heating installers who continually demonstrate expert technicality and skill, deliver exceptional customer service and use the most innovative technology in their installations.
The next phase of the competition will see a panel of judges select a heating installer to represent 11 different regions across the UK. Following the announcement of the regional winners in March, a public vote will decide who will be named the UK’s Number One Heating Installer. The overall winner will then be announced at the Installer2018 trade show at the Ricoh Arena in May.
Dennis Hollingworth of Hollingworth Heating (pictured) was the first winner of the Heating Installer Awards and he comments: “I am proud to work in an industry full of very talented installers and I am very proud to be the first installer recognised by the Heating Installer Awards.
“Entering the awards is simple and is a great way to be recognised for the great work you carry out over the year. I entered the awards on the last day they were open and this is something I wouldn’t recommend! Get your entries in and be a part of this fantastic organisation within our industry.”
To enter, plumbers and heating installers should visit the website below and fill in the short form, detailing a project the installer is particularly proud of, or which demonstrates going above and beyond for the customer. Providing additional information such as images and even video footage of a job well done will help the judges to rate the work carried out. Entries with extra detail and information on how the installation changed the daily lifestyle of a customer will be judged favourably.
