The manufacturer of domestic ventilation products, Polypipe Ventilation, has announced that it will now be known as Domus Ventilation. More than just a rebranding exercise, the name change follows a move to new premises in South Wales, the employment of a new management and customer services teams, plus investment in an expanded sales network.
Before being purchased by the Polypipe Group in 1998, Domus was a company name synonymous with quality ducting for the domestic and light commercial markets. The brand name lived on as part of Polypipe’s ducting products, but the decision has now been made to re launch the company under the new name of Domus Ventilation.
“Following extensive research, we have come to understand the genuine value of the Domus name,” explains Sales Director, Stephen Smith. “It is well known and directly associated with many positive attributes in the domestic ventilation sector, including quality product, which suits the direction we are taking for new products and services moving forward. These are exciting times for the newly emerged company, Domus Ventilation, and we have invested considerably in its future.”
The first stage in the creation of Domus Ventilation has included a move of all staff and manufacturing to modern premises in Caerphilly, South Wales. The advanced automated manufacturing facility includes new training rooms and customer services.
A new distinctive red logo and corporate identity have been unveiled and the branding has already been used across a new Domus Ventilation product catalogue and will be shortly applied to a new website. Targeting the private and social housing refurbishment sectors, the company says that a number of new product initiatives are in the pipeline and it will be looking to enhance its customer service offer.
Stephen Smith adds: “The new team has the expertise, enthusiasm and vision to really drive this business forward. We are all experts in our respective fields and are looking forward to coming together as a team to use our various skill sets to mark Domus Ventilation as a leader in the contractor, distribution and wholesale sectors.”
