Price comparison website, MoneySuperMarket, has revealed the situations where Brits are more likely to take on a DIY task themselves instead of hiring a professional.
A blocked sink or toilet is regarded as easily fixable by most Brits, with most (85% and 77% respectively) willing to take on these DIY challenges.
When it comes to more daunting tasks, like fixing a damaged roof or broken boiler, over 75% hire an expert for the job.
However, there are plenty of issues that Brits tackle themselves, with 69% of them doing so to save money.
