The UK’s leading heating and plumbing professionals have been recognised at the Installer Awards 2026, with national winners announced live at the InstallerSHOW at the NEC, Birmingham.
Bringing together the long-running Heating Installer Awards and the inaugural Plumber Awards under one umbrella, the Installer Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and customer service across the building services sector.
This year’s top honours went to Wales-based heating installer, Daniel Davies, and London plumber, Louchavan Lemard, who were crowned the UK’s Heating Installer of the Year and first-ever Plumber of the Year respectively.
Daniel Davies, of Daniel Davies Plumbing and Heating Engineers from Lampeter, secured the Heating Installer Awards national title after impressing judges with his work on a 200-year-old stone farmhouse that had stood abandoned for almost a century. Faced with a completely blank canvas, Daniel designed and installed a high-performance renewable heating system focused on efficiency, reliability and long-term durability. The win marks an impressive milestone for Daniel, who had already retained his Welsh regional title for a third consecutive year.
Meanwhile, Louchavan Lemard, co-founder of PH247 Ltd, was named the inaugural winner of The Plumber Awards. Judges praised his technical expertise, commitment to customer service and ability to deliver practical solutions that make a meaningful difference to homeowners. His winning entry showcased the redesign of a domestic heating and hot water system, transforming comfort levels and improving energy efficiency for a family home.
Daniel and Louchavan take home prize bundles worth thousands of pounds. All Heating Installer Awards winners receive a three-night trip to Denmark to visit Danfoss HQ. In addition, the winner of each awards receives a holiday voucher from Powered Now worth £1000, and all finalists receive £100 vouchers. The other sponsors provide product, vouchers and gifts to finalists.
Another standout winner was Daisy Turner of Toucan Heating and Plumbing Ltd, who was named Rising Star of the Year. The Essex-based apprentice impressed judges with both her technical ability and her wider contribution to the industry. Alongside delivering a complex heating and plumbing project to support a family adapting their home for critical medical needs, Daisy has taken on mentoring responsibilities at college and has worked closely with manufacturers to improve training facilities for future apprentices.
