A Scotland-based bathroom installer has been made B&Q’s Installer of the Year in recognition of his exceptional craftsmanship, customer-first approach, and decades-long contribution to the trade.

Working across stores including Coatbridge and East Kilbride, Paul Guild brings more than 30 years of experience in bathroom installation, including over two decades working alongside B&Q. During that time, he has completed more than 750 installations, as well as hundreds of remedial and warranty projects, building a strong reputation for quality, reliability and attention to detail.

B&Q’s Installer of the Year award celebrates the very best within its trade network, recognising the expertise, professionalism, and care installers bring to customers’ homes. Paul not only impressed judges with his technical ability, but through his commitment to delivering exceptional service and supporting local communities through charitable initiatives.

All 16 regional winners, each nominated by their local B&Q store, received a cash prize, with the overall winner also taking home the Installer of the Year trophy.

Paddy Earnshaw, retail director at B&Q, comments: “We’re incredibly proud to champion the exceptional talent and craftsmanship within our installer network through the Installer of the Year competition. We congratulate Paul on his win, which reflects decades of invaluable contribution to his clients, collaborators, and communities. This award recognises the expertise, care and commitment our installers bring to customers’ homes every day.”
