A Saniflo Sanicom 1 single-pump unit and a Saniflo Sanicom 2 twin-pump unit have addressed a design challenge at the Oasis Bar & Terrace where it faced drainage challenges due to the venue’s location above the London Underground and within a no-dig zone. The project incorporates a Saniflo productsto facilitate effective wastewater management.
The Sanicom 2 unit, installed in the downstairs bar, is designed to handle large volumes of water, ensuring continuous operation even in the event of a pump failure. It operates with twin pumps, which alternate to balance wear and tear, while allowing one pump to take over if the other malfunctions. The waste pipes from this unit run beneath the floor to external customer restrooms.
In the upstairs bar, the Sanicom 1 unit manages waste through a single pump, which connects to the same drainage system as the downstairs unit. This setup ensures that the bar can operate efficiently without conventional drainage solutions.
