The CORE range of jointing materials has been crafted to guarantee secure, leak-free connections. It includes essential products such as pipe sealing cord, lead-free solder, weld electrodes, hemp, abrasives, and various tapes (including Aluminium Foil and WRAS-approved PTFE), all designed to ensure long-lasting performance.
Additions to the range include CORE pipe sealant – an advanced anaerobic sealant that forms strong, leak-free bonds on threaded fasteners. Compatible with brass, steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and BZP steel, it cures quickly in the absence of oxygen, offering immediate sealing and resistance to loosening from vibrations.
Also news is CORE white jointing compound – a linseed oil-based compound that provides effective, watertight seals for threaded joints. Said to be easy to apply and disassemble, it is ideal for use in systems carrying natural gas, town gas and meets the requirements of BS 6956: Part 5: 1992 for quality and safety.
