The Holy Trinity Night Shelter in Bishop’s Stortford is the first recipient of one of 15 new boilers that Worcester Bosch is giving away as part of a scheme to celebrate 15 years of the company receiving the Which? Best Buy endorsement. The scheme encourages local installers to nominate a non-profit facility in their community and/or a knowingly deserving individual to receive a prize, and the new boiler was fitted by Worcester Accredited installers The Boiler Installation Specialists.
The only homeless shelter in East Hertfordshire, the Holy Trinity was nominated by The Boiler Installation Specialists, who were delighted that the shelter was chosen to receive a free boiler. However, on inspection, they realised the job was much more than a boiler and needed a complete heating system refit. Worcester Bosch worked together with the company to provide the brand new upgraded complete system to ensure the shelter could operate.
The shelter operates over the coldest months of the year, from the end of November through to the end of March but has been working with an outdated heating system. This installation will significantly improve the living conditions for the people who stay there and the volunteers and provide a much more efficient heating solution.
