Extending its range of corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST), Gastite UK has introduced Gastite P2. Developed as a solution for installing gas piping in unvented voids, which can often be diffi cult to access and timeconsuming, Gastite P2 comes complete with an outer, secondary jacket – thereby avoiding any need for additional sleeving.
Compatible with the company’s range of XR2 fittings, which eliminate exposed steel beyond the nut, Gastite P2 features a ridged underside on the external jacket which creates space between the outer jacket and the inner pipe to ensure that any gas can ventilate.
Commenting on the new product, sales director Andy Carpenter says: “Gastite P2 is the perfect complement to the rest of our product
range. Thanks to our innovative manufacturing techniques, we have ensured that the outer,
secondary jacket is thin enough to offer excellent flexibility, while still being robustenough to protect the inner CSST pipe.”
Available exclusively through merchants, Gastite includes the company’s original CSST which is BS EN 15266 approved and is available in a range of sizes from DN15 to DN50.
