Former World’s Strongest Man, Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall, attracted a large crowd at MKM’s branch in Bolton when the independent merchant recently teamed up with Sika Everbuild to host a fun sealant and adhesive themed event.
Visitors were able to meet the strongman and find out more about EB25 – Sika Everbuild’s ultimate sealant and adhesive. Its super strong formula means it is capable of bonding almost any material to almost any surface – and Eddie Hall was keen to put EB25 through its paces.
The event marked the start of the new ‘Beast Lift’ challenge, which will be touring merchants up and down the country between now and the end of the year. Participants are tasked with holding a 15kg weighted bar (shaped like a giant EB25 tube) at shoulder height for as long as they could manage and Eddie started the day off by lifting the weighted bar for a grand total of 2:03 minutes, setting a tough time to beat.
Eddie also entertained the crowd by strapping himself up to an EB25 packed van and pulling it across the yard, showcasing his supreme strength to everyone in attendance.
