Northumberland plumbing and heating engineer, Rob Wilson of Gas Wizard, is heading to Miami after winning a once-in-a-lifetime World Cup trip thanks to Polypipe Building Products and Plumb Centre.
Rob will be joined by his son, Jamie, who works alongside him in the business. The pair will watch England take on France in the FIFA World Cup third-place play-off at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium this Saturday (18th July), and get the chance to absorb the World Cup fever of the host nation. Rob won the experience after purchasing PolyPlumb Enhanced plastic fittings through his local Plumb Centre, and entering a competition via PlumbPro – Polypipe’s membership scheme.
Commenting on winning the trip, Rob says: “I was completely overwhelmed when I was contacted and told I had won the trip to Miami. You always hear about people winning prizes like this, but you never think it will be you. To be able to share the experience with Jamie makes it even more special, and we’re both really looking forward to it.”
